I'll just hop back in...
We've been crazy proud of our musical kids around here lately. Here are some pictures from their 2nd-ever piano recital last weekend.
They both did a fantastic job. And we were especially pleased that, in addition to Grandma, Uncle Rob, Penny and Eleanor were able to come to the event.
There was a little goofiness after the kids were unleashed on the post-recital treats table.
Tonight was Henry's first official band concert. Grandpa and Nana came in for the show. Frederick hadn't seen them for a while, but took absolutely no time to warm up. He just sat right down next to Grandpa and was a perfect audience member the entire time. We were all doing lots of thinking of (and missing of) Bampa at this concert as well. He would have been so proud.
Henry is so sweet...he always smiles and waves to us.
It was hard to get a good shot of him playing, but you get the idea. It's incredible what a good job this music department does with these kids. A whole band of 4th graders, and they sounded great!
We came back home for some ice cream after the show. Here's Henry, posing for a nice picture.
He quickly displays the fact that he is so very much his father's son.
Meanwhile, Clara got a little puzzling time in with two grandmas and a grandpa.
