We got a little more egg carton play in Thursday. First we stacked them all up and took turns knocking them down.
Then Henry created a bowling alley. Eventually he made a ball return too, which was pretty cool.
Yesterday I decided I wanted to take the kids out somewhere. We decided on the Museum of Contemporary Art, because I hadn't been there for a while. I thought it would be pretty cool for Henry and knew it wouldn't be as crowded as some other spots.
Henry and Clara liked the fish at the bottom of the stairwell.
Clara got out of her stroller and crawled around by this big window for a while.
In the meantime, Henry flipped through a book of previous exhibits.
This may have been one of their favorite parts of the museum. The main exhibit was on Buckminster Fuller, which was cool, but not quite as flashy for the kids.
Henry took a few opportunities to sketch in his notebook...
...even at lunch.
Here's how this morning started out.
And then he realized I was taking pictures of him, so the dramatics began.
Clara is growing her hair out.
And here's tonight. Our friend Jonathan is over. We went to Beinlich's for burgers and are now hanging out having a beer, watching some basketball.
And now I have to go put Henry to bed. We'll see how it goes. He currently is wearing his monkey footie pajamas, his Spiderman mask, one red glove and one black mitten. He insists he'll wear the entire ensemble to bed. I think it's maybe in honor of his Uncle Will's birthday. Happy Birthday Will....don't go stand behind a skunk.
