Here are some more pictures from our nice long weekend in Iowa.
Rob got us to play his pirate game, finally...
Our first day at Jazz Fest was a little gray, but the kids had fun running around.
This picture was taken just before Clara realized I was there. I love the look on her face.
Here we are camped out for fireworks.
I was impressed again this year by the display.
Henry was distressed again by the noise.
Sunday morning we spent some time at the park.
Then we headed back downtown to enjoy the food and the music.
Clara took her nap on the Pentacrest.
Here's the crew in our nice shady spot.
Amber and Henry shared a dramatic interpretation of "Snoopy's Feelings". Adelaide was duly entertained.
Kirin and his mama joined us for a bit too.
Amber made delicious carrot cupcakes so we could celebrate Jeff's birthday in style.
Somehow Pete made it through Arts Fest and Jazz Fest without getting a funnel cake. He did, however, enjoy a corn dog.
JazzFest is always one of our favorite times of the year. Already looking forward to next summer!

I'll bet Pete got the last corn dog. Blasted.
