Attitude

Henry has recently adopted the word "attitude". We may or may not have had a discussion about having a "better attitude", but now he has given it its own definition. I think when he says it, he mostly means "addition" but it comes out sounding so much more poetic.
An example:
Me: "Henry, Clara and I are going in the other room...I'm going to try to get some work done on the computer."
Henry: "Okay, I'm just going to stay here and put some more attitude on my jet."

The jet, with attitude. You may think that Henry's jet looks an awful lot like a boat. Feel free to take that up with him. Henry's recent obsession with Lego jets can be attributed to Uncle Will.
I'm pretty sure we can attribute the attitude to Uncle Will as well.

Clara Jean has been displaying quite a bit of attitude of her own. Generally it's a sweet and humorous attitude. Sometimes it becomes a little bit bossy. She is quite determined and independent-minded. And she looks good in jammies.

Now where in the world would "independent" and "determined" come from?

Fondly, ditok

Love the jet! And the jammies! The jet actually looks like something Myazaki might have come up with, if his movies were made of legos... (see NausicaƤ, for example, or Howl's Moving Castle, or, or, or...)

Thumbs up for both attitude and independence. I'm with Bill.....I have no idea where either of those have come from.
