Pineapple Fizz

Okay- so it's a little hard to tell in the before and after photos, but this really is a drastic change. The new color (on the right) is a lovely cream-yellow color called Pineapple Fizz. The old color (on the left) was an icky dirty-looking tan, which might have been named Faded Poop.

Here is the sample up against the old color- still, the colors just don't quite come through on the computer. You'll have to take my word for it.

See how pretty and fresh that looks?

Next steps: Pete will install a new faucet and lights. Eventually we'll figure out the medicine cabinet too..... Hopefully before Katie comes, since this will be her primary bathroom. I think I"ll also get new knobs for the vanity, since the current ones are brass and the new lights and faucet are silver.
Tomorrow or Wednesday I hope to paint the eating area....the strange no-man's land between the family room and the kitchen. It will be a shade more yellow....it's called Song of Summer. Ah. Lovely.
By the way- if you're REALLY into these things- the paints are Behr, so you can maybe check out the colors better there.
And now I'm off to the shower.
